In MedTech companies like Siemens, Philips I was involved in building diagnostic imaging solutions, interoperability suits for the healthcare systems both public and Private. I was part of R& D teams to identify the disrupting technologies for patient care and delivery like digital pathology, image fusion and molecular diagnostics.
Few publications and a patent were filed for the work related to imaging and its applications esp in cancer care.
I was leading a team to drive Clinical excellence activities in a Chennai based MedTech startup -Perfint Healthcare. www.perfinethealthcare.com Robotic interventional technology was used in precise drug delivery and to perform diagnostic procedures. This product has 510K approval along with CE and many other global market approvals for clinical use.
My experience with Boston Scientific was spanning across cardiology, neurology with minimally invasive technology and innovative concepts like drug eluting stents, deep brain stimulation.
During my IBM Watson stint was leading global team of oncologists to implement and adopt AI based cancer and genomics technology and help clinicians and other stakeholders to help improve patient outcomes. Genomics offering was evaluated with various life sciences industries and next generation diagnostic offerings. That was great learning from the genomic experts, molecular diagnostic expert and biostatisticians across geographies.
Currently with Karkinos Healthcare as VP clinical operations. Karkinos is an innovative Oncology startup with a vision to democratize cancer care in a participatory fashion with existing health providers, researchers and technologists using futuristic digital technologies, AI based Oncology analytics and patient engagement solutions using cloud based, open-source solutions to bring in scale at population and community level.
All along the journey from Clinician to Domain Expert in technology had opportunity to interact with various new technology startups, top clinical brains and public and private sector healthcare delivery systems including policy makers and biotechnology ministry department DBT and decision makers executives.
