Abhishek Poduri

Abhishek Poduri has over 16 years of notable experience in healthcare and management consulting in the areas of strategy, operational excellence and  project management, and has held P&L responsibilities.

Abhishek last held the position of Chief Operating Officer for the AP & Telangana Cluster at Roche Pharma India (Roche), where he was heading operations, spanning across sales & marketing, market access, and ecosystem development for Oncology and Rare Diseases. Also, at Roche he was the national sponsor for Foundation Medicine, India. Prior to this role, Abhishek worked with Tata Trusts as the Head of South Zone Operations  and was leading the implementation of multi-thematic interventions across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

During his association with the Tata Trusts, he was a part of the leadership team that developed the distributed cancer care model and led the planning and commissioning of the Center for Oncopathology. He also conceptualized the business plan for Surgical Skill Training Center and Command Center, critical to the distributed cancer care model.

In addition, Abhishek has a decade of rich experience in management consulting and has worked with companies such as Bain & Co., Arete Advisors and Feedback Infra. He has worked across sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure, logistics and industrial goods, and has advised both domestic and international clients including private equities on multiple engagements.

Abhishek’s educational qualifications include an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Bachelors’ in Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad
